Drawing on her experience as a professional guitar ensemble player, Chelsea also directs the AUC Guitar Ensemble and other chamber ensembles of mixed instrumentation.

Sight-Reading for Guitar: A New Resource was attended by twenty-five guitar students from Alexandria and Cairo, ages 8-30 years. I previewed Sight-Reading for Guitar: The Keep Going Method and worked with students to improve their practice by exploring a variety of attitudes and behaviors while sight-reading.

The Love of Play was attended by twenty-five guitar students from Alexandria and Cairo, ages 8-30 years. They performed works ranging from beginning to intermediate levels. We focused on right-hand technique, posture, balance, relaxation, stage presence and rhythm. Students were also encouraged to envision the architecture of their pieces and play according to the demands of each section.
